New York City took the top spot in a new ranking of the coolest cities in the U.S. and Canada, beating out second-place Boston with a score of 89.11.

A recent ranking of the coolest cities across the United States and Canada crowned New York City the coolest of them all.

To determine apex coolness, Canada Sports Betting analyzed 150 cities using six indicators of relative radness: music events, sporting events, coffee shops, breweries, museums, and parks.

Each city received a score out of 100, combining the overall availability of experiences (75%) with their concentration per square mile (25%).

The study ranked the cities overall and also provided lists based on city size.
