Unemployment rate dips to 4.7% - but vacancies hit five-year low after Labour was warned soaring cost of doing business 'holding back recruitment'
The UK unemployment rate for people aged 16 years and over was estimated at 4.7 per cent in June to August 2026, the Office for National Statistics said today.
