Résumé détaillé

In January, Canberra's BMX riders were sorely disappointed.

Hailing from a family of mountain bikers, he took his sport seriously, and regularly took his 4-year-old son Solomon out to local biking paths to learn the ropes.

One particular day he'd brought Solomon to a skatepark, the proud dad noticed his on was picking up cycling skills at an incredible pace; able to practise the same move, over the same bump 100 times in an hour.

"That's where I realised BMX is a fantastic sport," Mr Brown said. "It's a big deal in Canberra."

Now, Mr Brown is Canberra's resident 'skatepark dad', and runs South Side Freestyle BMX sessions on Friday nights across Canberra for kids passionate about the sport.
