Continuing negotiations with Washington serves no purpose because the United States wants concessions without offering anything in return, Iranian lawmaker Abbas Golrou told ILNA on Saturday.

“The Americans want to take everything and give nothing,” said Golrou, a member of parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee. He argued that Tehran had already gone further in negotiations than it should have.

Golrou said no further political process would be pursued, at home or abroad, until Washington complied with the Islamic Republic’s conditions.
