GENEVA, November 7. /TASS/. The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has barred Belarusian national teams from competing in the 2027 World Men’s and World Junior Championships, the IIHF press service reported.

"The Council’s decision followed a ruling by the IIHF Disciplinary Board, which partially upheld the appeal filed by the Belarus Ice Hockey Federation against the Council’s decisions of July 27, 2026. In its ruling, the Disciplinary Board confirmed that there were no legal grounds for the immediate reinstatement of the national teams.
